did the 2001 bikes come with choice of spoked or cast wheels? looking at a clean 1150gs but seems have the r1100 spoked wheels

i rather spoked rims so are they easy swop/sell or even do the spoked wheels come up cheap?

2001 spoked wheels only 1200 come with alloys [GS not GSA].

Easy to convert back. Cast wheels are probably worth more than wire wheels. Set of wire wheels from the following will fit R850GS, R1100GS, R1150GS, R1150GSA (purple rims). You should be able to pick up a set without discs for about £250 – maybe less if you are lucky. R1200GS front wheel will also fit with a change in wheel bearings. R1200GS rear wont fit.

Unless you intend to offroad I’d stick with the cast wheels. Better choice of road tyres and better handling.

ya i would be dong bit off roading

i think the wheels are off the r1100 as spotted few 1100's with same wheels
