I have decided that having moved house, I cannot justify keeping both of my bikes - so the R1150GSA is going (and the R1200GSA is staying; I may replace the 1150 with a smaller bike at some point - (any suggestions given that I am 6'6"?).
The 1150GSA is "well used" - ridden in all weathers and I am not a fan of cleaning bikes - so plenty of corrosion. The MoT expires/expired on 20th October and the bike will be SORNed from this date as I do not intend to renew the MoT (front brake drags a little - probably needs the pistons on the front left caliper cleaned, but I have no real inclination to do it as I cannot see myself using the bike much). A tad over 72k miles.
This would be an ideal winter project, or get it through the MoT and a fine winter ride.
The bike was (I think) a Cat. D insurance in about 2006 - which would explain the unusual tank colour combination.
The bike has an almost new rear tyre and a good front tyre, a Givi top box rack and Touratech pannier frames and ally panniers. There is a Ram mount fitted around the speedo and a mount for a Garmin Zumo satnav.
My last run on the bike was the weekend of 3rd/4th October, 220 miles on A and B roads with no problems.
Unless the bike is collected by 20th October, you will need a van or trailer to take it away as MoT expires then.
Asking price is £1215 (£1 per cc of engine capacity and HP - 1130 + 85). Bike is located in Hay on Wye (about 20 miles from Hereford)
