Hi guys,

I have a standard GSA screen fitted with tobinators on my GSA.

I am struggling to find the sweet spot that people talk about, although I have seen a massive improvement.

I was wondering how people have set theirs up angle wise.

Please bare in mind I am 6ft 2" so I think I might be on the limit!!!

Head height, helmet shape and wind direction all have contributing factors. Maybe try one of those attached airfoil deflector screens companies make.

I'm 6' 3" and my 03 1150 GSA has an adjustable MRA screen with no tobinators. No problem with buffeting etc. As Rugged Path says, helmet shape can make a difference but I've used a couple of different helmets on mine (both flip fronts) and had no issues with either. Never tried tobinators and don't want to dis something I've no experience of, but reading other threads on here, it seems the biggest improvements people have found is changing the screen to an MRA. Maybe see if you can get a ride on a bike with the MRA screen? You're welcome to try mine, but its a couple of hundred miles each way from Blyth to Herefordshire. Still, you have the right bike for long rides and the Christmas holidays are coming up! I'll even throw in a mince pie!

torbinators + GS Adventure screen + Xscreen.

Works for me. I still had buffet until I added the Xscreen, which compresses the air coming off the screen and eliminates the turbulence which caused the buffet.

6' 2" with seat on high setting.

I find I can ride at most speeds with minimal buffet and my visor up.

You just have to persevere, there is no magic bullet. The trouble is that what suits one will not suit another. It took me a lot of trial and error and a great deal of expense to achieve my best set up.

Good luck
