I really like the shape of the OEM factory exhaust and think many of the after market pipes are expensive. Some close examination shows the end can is constructed much lke the inside of an Akra, with a stainless perf tube wrapped in fibre glass sound deadening. A stainless baffle tube is welded inside that tube. So after a little bit of thought and some jiggery pokery I de corked it. This increases the strangled outlet from around 42mm diameter to 55mm and cleans up the endcap. The sound is definitely improved but certainly not loud, just a nice subtle base increase. Oh and a smidge of weight saving.
