R1200 ADV Alternator Swap?

While we're on the subject of swapping parts from the ADV, I wonder if the ADV's larger alternator will go right on to the standard bike? That would probably be a great help to those with servo brakes, extra lights and other accessories.

I thought if you had the factory option of Heated bars and ABS it came with the bigger alternator after that fit a Hawker Odyssey battery and I would think no problems

aren't there some stats that say 80% or more of these things are made with ABS?

surely that would mean that practically all the gs's would come with adv alternators - is that really true?
