Latest here in SA is that it is now official and the two day launch will be on 21/22 January 2004 in George, Western Cape. Test bikes have been shipped and some trials will be happening shortly in the Klein Karoo (semi arid desert) and surrounds.
I wonder if they may spring a surpirse and do a simultaneous launch in Europe. That is right about the time of the Brussels Bike (and car) show. Brussels Bike show where 2 years ago they sprung a surprise by launching the 1150RT on the world.
