Hi All, Just had a reply from Haynes manuals regards one for the R1200gs and it seems that "they have no plans for the forseeable future to produce a manual for the R1200GS,however all customer requests are recorded and used in the decision process of future publications"
Just a thought but it may help if you are in the future looking to do a bit of home servicing and require a haynes manual to get on their website and register your interest ;)

don't hold out much hope :(
I used to have a yam xj900f before I found the gs and they didn't bring out the manual for that until a few years after yam stopped production
they only made them for about 10 years with very little in the way of spec changes (why change a good bike :) )

Bootlegged (I presume) official BMW manuals available on CD from places like ebay for £5.99 (in the example below). Of course you might be funding some dispicable organisation but hey, who gets all the tax we pay?

Bones,

You got yours from the same place I got mine?! The manual is probably HTML/XML format, so why don't BMW just make it available online? Could be a useful source of product feedback. The guy down in Bavaria or Berlin would be saying "Ja, se pinch bolts page, viele lesen! Vielleicht einer problem mit unsere motorrad? Genau". Just a thought.
