Hi,

Ive got the 2018 yr GSA Rallye which ive had from new. Everytime i rode the bike the gsa fog/spot lights have always been on however today, halfway through a sunday run out, the icon on the dash went out and no fog/spot lights.
The fog/spot lights come on when i switch the bike on but when i start her up the lights go out.
The handbook, to me, is like a foreign language but i did go to the system, lights, and try the auto mode but still no fog lights.

Can anyone tell me why? So i can ride with the fog/spot lights on.

Thanks

What a complete and utter Twat! Me not you.....

Just put a new set of bar risers on the bike and now on full lock the spotlight button touches the tank bag...... press the button and magically the lights are fixed.

Mods ..... add a link for biggest dickhead of the week and I'll be the first.

Far from the truth, many more can claim that spot....................:D

Good one, and easily done. I startled myself a couple of times on a recent trip to Spain when the engine started while maneuvering the bike out of parking spaces. I have risers too and the start button was hitting the tank bag. Good job it wasn't in gear on either occasion! :yikes On a previous bike the horn button would hit the tank bag on full lock which was a bit embarrassing too!

It's no excuse but I was trying to look too deep into the problem rather than the obvious but I've learned a lesson.

Thanks guys for your comments and especially demonbiker for the award.

I can see this being a problem for me on my upcoming trip, which will be the first trip with my up and back bar risers

Could be a bit tight and with my sound bomb, I hope the horn doesn’t keep going off

I will remember about my auxiliary lights though

Could be worse, you could have been the Harley Rider holding us up at the passport queue in Hull today exiting the ferry. Had the Sidestand down, kept starting the bike, and wondered why it was cutting out every time he put it in gear to move forwards :) :)
