Hi,
Just had my shocks redone and on refitting the front I have put it back in the same way with the ESA cable facing forward towards front wheel.
I thought since the water can penetrate this electrical connection then it would make sense to swap it around 180 deg so that the connector faces the engine and give a bit more protection.
Can anyone with a bike with ESA possibly take a look and advice which orientation there front shock connector is facing?
Am I missing something does it need to face forward would the engine heat cause problems? For me there appears to be plenty room for it without any fowling.
Thanks
Mark
