R1250GS tft trip reset

Having read the manual and spent an age scrolling through the tft menus, I am now stumped and am resigned to asking here for help.
How does one zero trip meter one without also zeroing trip meter two?
Can they be individually zeroed? If not, there seems to me to be little point in having two.

Go into the bike menu then tab down using the rocker switch select Re set individual values then select what you want to re set.

Or drop down to "my bike" then tab right to trip computer 1 or 2 and then down again to get the reset option for the relevant trip.
