Bought 5 half years ago new on a 19 plate and just turned 60,000 miles. Service intervals completed and shocks refurb by T Tech suspension but the best bit? It’s taken me all over the UK and parts of Europe ( just back from the Picos as I write) The people I have chatted too both here in the UK and Europe all because of this amazing machine and not forgetting the places and roads seen.

Just thought I would post a positive thread that’s all.

Absolutely agree with this sentiment - where else would someone open their home to like minded people once a year? Only members of this forum - great to go out and meet people from all walks of life that are brought together for the love of bikes!

Well said Team Duvet.
You got me thinking and you know what - you’re absolutely right!
Some positivity on a Friday afternoon - what’s not to like.

Very reassuring, having traded my trusty Hex GSA for a used 1250 GSA and having initial problems and concerns.

All my bikes are “long termers” so glad to know the 1250 can do decent miles reliably.

Great to read, I’m just through 10k (sprog) on mine. Don’t regret going big early ( used same technique on Saturday nights, way back when..) and still look forward to taking it out.
Got some new bits to put on it tomorrow too……

Hi
I’ve got a 2019 GSA on 52k miles and having thoughts about replacing the suspension. On my last bike I went for Wilbers ESA at 50k miles and it was a massive improvement. This time I’m thinking about Tractive suspension.
How did you find your suspension after being refurbished and did you consider having it replaced.
Cheers. Doug.

Hi Doug…..nothing felt wrong with the shocks but with a big trip coming up and it’s a “keeper” got some good advice about T Tech suspension so thought, why not. Did I feel loads of difference? Not night n day but like a say….peace of mind etc..

Thanks TD. Appreciate the response.
I’ll probably have a chat with them as in the short term it’ll be considerably cheaper to have it refurbished. Mines also a keeper especially with being in great condition and having zero corrosion.
Cheers.

I’ve recently purchased a 94k miles GS LC. Almost devoid of corrosion as used primarily for world wide touring, It’s has just had both standard ESA shocks refurbed by Lukas….feel really great 👍
