Chaps,

Has anyone in the parish found an option to raise the seat height even taller than the standard seat on the tall setting? I'm not looking to purchase a new seat for cost reasons (plus my garage will just fill up with unused saddles! I already have a Sargent seat which is unfortunately lower than the standard offering), so was hoping someone might know of a good solution out there. I already have lowered seat pegs fitted (Wunderlich options transferred over from my 1200GSA days), but could really do with a bit more leg room.

Thanks in advance.:beerjug:

Ask Cymarc if he can help.

I think this is the right answer - the offset cams surely must raise at some point if they also lower?
Mark will know the answer!

You've either got High or Low mate - I need "Extra High"! There is an option on fleabay though, might give that a shot. It lowers the seat by 10mm... I'm thinking, flip it over, surely it then raises it by 10mm....

Yes the cams would raise the front of the seat, but whether it stays there is the problem, they could slowly rotate downwards.

I have the lower cams to raise the front, I also tried the metal jobbies that raise the cams, (from The Amazon’s)...
I found that one is OK, but both leaves a huge gap at the front of the seat, and it won’t clip in at the back. The cams do rotate down after a few seat removals but with my giraffe legs much more comfy

Just get high seat, many for sale, life to short to play with not stable plastics.

Buy the high seat, or just get an air hawk ......may raise seating position enough to satisfy your butt

Have you got lowered pegs already?
I’ve got a 33” inch inseam and what worked for me was lowered pegs. They weren’t even on their lowest settings but combined with the seat on high it took the cramp out of my knees.

Yes bud, I have both.

Received a nice shiny new Airhawk for Christmas, so that will help. My biggest issue is arthritis in my left knee and right hip.... finding a comfortable ergonomic is challenging, but I've yet to get out with the Airhawk yet as the weather has been too cold for me (not good with arthritis..... worst of all, I'm only 45 years old, it's not like I'm old!
