R1250GSA swapping heated to unheated seat

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a lower seat for my bike.
Should I expect any issues if I swap the heated seat for an unheated one?
Will the bike software be OK with that?

I’ve got a standard seat to try on my heated seat equipped 1250. Not tried it yet, I’ll fit it tonight if I have time and see if it has any effect. Can’t imagine it would.

It doesn't complain about the lack of a heated seat.

You can easily test it by unplugging your existing one !

I had a 1250 rallye with the std heated seat,

I fitted my ultralow

The rear seat still gets hot, the riders seat doesn't

everything else works


Heated seats are for wimps

No issues at all in swapping between the two different seat.
