R1250gsa tyres

I think it’s a 41 thing.Happy for the front end grip in the wet though.
Yes,I'm happy enough with them but have pilots on all me bikes. The other thing is the noise, seems excessive to say the least. But as this is me first GSA I have no comparison, until Saturday when the 6's go on.I'm hoping the noise is noticeably quieter.

2019 GS HP ... I started with anakee adventures on it, Their OK on the road but not too good in sand or mud, no control over the direction of the front. So I went to Wilds, and they are stellar in most every way but they are even noisier than the adventures. and I mean ear plug country noise. There very good on the street and can be leaned over no problem. And I can fly thru stuff that had me turning around before in the dirt. The main catch is their wear, 2500 for the rear ish.
So the wilds are wearing fast, and I've been leaning toward road 6's for the next set, just so I can put more miles on it. I have road 6 GT's on my RS and their pretty good in the dirt too it seems. I see a lot road 6's on other gs's around the shop and the BMW club here .......... If I was closer to dirt riding I would just run the wilds probably, they are a blast in the dirt for sure.

Got the Road 6's fitted Saturday morning, the noise level between them and the Bridgestone 41 is considerable, the 6's are so much quieter. The bike, for some odd reason, feels so much lighter on the steering(tyres are at correct pressure according to the tpms)Filed the money back offer Saturday afternoon, got a reply an hour ago, accepting and telling me the money will be in my account within 28 days, great stuff.

Just to add my 2 pennies worth

I took mine in for service today and mentioned a vibration I started feeling through the bars and pegs. Fred at Boxer Works said hess 99% sure it's the tyres. CTA 3's with really bad uneven wear, "feathering" and cracking. Nothing I saw until he pointed it out, then it was obvious. They were put on in March and covered 4500 miles.

He had a set of Road 6's in so I've gone for them, see how they fair.
