R12GS/GSA v S10

Can some of the owners of these new beasts, give me a real world comparison between the S10 and either the pre TwinCam or Twin R12GS/GSA

I'm thinking about having a ride to see what all the praise is all about

Also any good Yam dealers in Yorkshire for a test-ride

I think you will like it Johnny.

It is a heavy bike, but light when you ride it and handles/brakes etc very well.

The the reason it is so heavy is that it is built like a Tiger Tank, like the 1150s

It might be a trek for you, but I can't recommend Keith Dixon at Accrington highly enough. I originally enquired about a new one and he was prepared to sell me one at the advertised discounted price with over £500 worth of extras (spots, h'grips, screen etc)

As I have just bought his demo, he was PDIing a black one last week.

Not had a 1200, rode one in 2004 when new and a 05 when i nearly did a swop but thats as close as i came so cannot help.
Wigan Yamaha near you they offered me a belting deal on a black one and still keep in touch even though i have never been there or bought owt from them. Seem keen and nice bunch
