R1300gs price increase.

I believe that there is an imminent price increase on 1st April 2024 of 3% on all models.

What I am trying to clear up is if I place my order on Saturday 30th March, will I save the 3% or is the price increase based on when the bike will be delivered which is possibly July 2024 ?

Can anybody clarify this please as I am having mixed messages from dealers.

Negotiate your price and your trade in if you have one, even if you don’t sign up straight away I believe the price offer stands for 30 days (it does here anyway) it will be written on the bottom of the offer they print out

it should be but most sales agreements will have a clause in the small print to say that if the price increases between the two dates then the dealer can charge extra.

One would need to have it specifically in writing that the price agreed on 30 March is the final price. I don't think this would be agreed by a dealer unless the vehicle had already been invoiced to them at the old price.
