just got my 1st airhead
r80rt
one owner from new and is the most looked after bike i have ever seen
the nice chap who loved this bike knows every mm of it and ran through the start up and the tick over settings
so happy
my gsa and r1100rs will be very sad
cause my new love is the rt

just the one i got doesnt need brake pistons jammed in
hows the the xj600 going Mungrel...........
next for my stable will be a hd 883 cause why not

Congrats on the 'new' RT80, cracking bike. The RT was my intro to Beemers, loved it Apart from the front brake, which was a bit of an on-off switch, a fierce stopper though. Just as well, since the back drum was fairly ineffective. Sorry I sold it, but had to finance my first GS, usual story. Wishing you many happy miles

A cracking bit of kit! Someone will know how to fit some flashing led's to it and connect it to an integral neckbrace...

I only rode my RT about 5 miles before some smart a*** suggested that I convert it into a kind off GS style bike.. But it was a nice smooth bike to ride in standard trim.. And was quite light and flickable! Although mine didn't have its original barn door fairing!

Everyone ends up and airhead fan in the end!
