R800 GS engine paint

need a little advice, what's the best paint to use, please

Seems my engine /gearbox/heads and barrels were all painted silver at the factory, was that the case ???

Bare alloy finish from the factory.........you've been blinged !!

No paint , unless some idiot has painted yours at some time. You really need to strip the engine down and get it vaqua blasted, it'll come up like new.

The engine cases barrels and heads were all sprayed like this,must have been done many years ago,

Shouldn,t this be in the 1200 section.?

Block up all the holes, go get it blasted.Just had mine done after a re build, I'll look up how to post pics and post one.
