R80g/s Rear Mudguard

Does the rear mudguard from a R80GS fit a G/S By any chance? They look very similar but I thought the subframe of the two are different?

think the answer is probably not given they look very different on OEM microfiche yet on German eBay someone selling ront and rear mudguards saying they fit R80g/s and R80gs?

Don't see why it wouldn't Afterall, the Basic used a very similar subframe to the monolever G/S with a later, paralaver mudguard.

Hi Kav teh subframes are different.
If i remember , i think the mounting holes for the mudguard are in a different place.
so I would say no, not without a bit of messing.

The sub frames for the R80st and R80g/s are the same

The rear wheel cover, as its called, is the same too

Now I think about it, the cut out for the shock will surely be different as well?

Thanks for the replies gents, there was a nice newish looking one on ebay for a R80GS but think I will give it a miss until a G/S one turns up that will definitely fit.
