r80gs para rear shock

hi guys the rear shock on my 93 r80gs needs a bit of attention.
at the moment its like riding a pogo stick as the rear end is bounceing all over the place.
i have details of a place in dublin (thanks og for that post)that should be able to repair it quite cheap but i am wondering if a shcok off a differnt para would fit and leave the bike slightly lower,not a big deal but no harm in asking

Speak to Ogmios he is running an R100 R shock which rides a bit lower

An R100R rear shock will lower the back end about 2 1/2 inches, but they are serious rocking horse stuff on the S/H market.

One of these would also require you to lower the front of the bike too. Otherwise the steering will be very lasy. An R100GS shock will fit fine though, as it's the same thing.
