Rabat & Marrakech ...... any recommendations for

accommodation? I'm looking for somewhere to stay in both Marra and Rabat (while waiting for Mauri visa) before heading south. Nothing too flashy, but clean, and hopefully with a bit of local character. Secure parking for the bike however would be essential, if not at the hotel/riad, in a nearby area with 24hr. security.

Any recommendations based upon recent experience?

I tried the Ibis in Rabat but they were full. Its very clean and exactly what you'd expect of Ibis.
Not very adventourous but safe and simple!! ditto Marakesh!
