Radiator change

I've sprung a leak on my 650GS and from reading the posts on this forum and the chain gang site I figure the symptoms fit with the breaking holding tab problem (see http://faq.f650.com/GSFAQs/RadiatorFAQGS.htm for info). To check for this and even if it is only a pinhole leak which can be fixed up with epoxy (doubt it) I'm going to have to take the radiator off....

Has anyone done this themselves? Difficult? Advisable? I'll give most things a go but don't have huge 'wrenching' experience.

An easy job to remove and reinstall the radiator. Just follow the instructions in this manual here. You have to remove the Fan first and then drain the coolant. You'll need a big drip tray for the coolant to fall into, and just when you think its all out, more splashes out on you!
