A question for you techy types.
I have put together my first computer consisting of asus a8n-e motherboard, amd AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200 chip, with 2 x 250gig new matched sata2 drives and an e-geforce 7300gt graphics card. Went together a treat but on entering the bios and selecting raid array (want the two drives striping) it decides not to show the drives. If booted as default settings it shows the two drives. It then allows me to boot xp pro only showing one drive, but if I try and go back and set the raid array I just get a 'system disk error' insert disk and press enter.
As you may of gathered I am a bit of a novice so any suggestions even obvious ones gratefully received. Otherwise the case may get modified with an axe.
Thanks
Dave
