For anyone who has a Touratech case system fitted to their WC, the Raid toolbox is now available to fit from DS Bike Protection in Spain.
These have been available for other models for a while, but only recently been adapted to fit the TT system for the WC.
I fitted mine last week (see photos) and initial impressions as follows.
POSITIVES;
Arrived within 7 days or placing order
High quality, well-made and looks rugged
So far has proved waterproof, time will tell on that one
Lockable
Very easy to fit and adjust into available space inside left case
Can be accessed when cases are fitted
Provides useful lockable storage space for small items you need to access quickly on a trip
BE AWARE;
It's quite small so you won't get masses in here
Door opening is small with sharp edges - helps to be a gynaecologist if you want to fumble around inside!
Only a two point fixing, but no idea yet if that will actually turn out to be of any significance in real usage.
I've put a tyre repair kit, first aid kit, visor cleaner, cloth and optimate connector kit for charging phone etc. in it.
All in all, IMHO a useful addition to my bike
