Decided to take my bike into Rainbow to sort out the problem I had been having with changing gear as it was still under warranty so duly went in the garage yesterday to start her up to find a flat battery so I phone bmw recovery to be told that they had no record of my bike!! so the chap on the other end suggested I contact my 'dealer' so I called Rainbow expecting to be on the phone all day chasing this that and the other (previous experience of this with other organisations!) in total I made one phone call to rainbow and spoke to Steve told him the problems and began the wait, within ten minutes I had a call from the recovery chap followed five minutes later by bmw recovery informing me they were on their way!
Once sorted I rode the bike to Rainbow to sort out the gearbox, on arrival I was met by steve who i had spoken to earlier who took my key and told me to leave it with them.
Within the hour after a couple of free coffees I was given my keys back and told there would be no charge!
I would just like to say to Steve at Rainbow the service I received at your hands yesterday was excellent very corteous and professional, and made me feel valued as a customer, as it was the first time I have had an issue I wasn't sure what to expect but can certainly say that the service was first class and one can see why they come top in the ride magazine awards.
If they weren't my local dealer (3 miles from home) I would go there anyway and if anyone is looking for a good dealer, go to Rainbow I can't see me going anywhere else now!

PS bought a battery charger so didn't get away totally scot free!!
