Hi Guys & Girls
I'd very much appreciate any support (donations). I'm running a fell marathon in three weeks time. I've decided to run for the NSPCC. ALL donations go to the NSPCC. I've raised well over £1000 now (including gift aid), and would love to raise as much as possible.
The effort going in to this is incredible. I'm averaging over 45 miles per week in training at the moment. Sundays are longer runs (20 miles on both of the last two Sundays). 22 miles this Sunday, then taper down. It seems like it's been nothing but work, running or sleeping for the last couple of months.
This'll be my first marathon. 26.2 miles covering a total of 3,065 feet of ascent. Almost all off road on trails or across the Pennines near Haworth in Yorkshire. As a fell run, I need to carry emergency kit whilst doing this too (full body waterproof cover, emergency food, map, compass, whistle). I'll also be running with c. 1.5 litres of fluid as aid stations are a little scarce.
Thanks for reading this, and many thanks indeed for any support. More details and a donations page is here ... http://www.justgiving.com/William-Richardson
Cheers
