RAM mount

Just ordered a RAM mount for my camcorder. Are they any good? Can you attach them to the crash bars or will I have to make up a custom bracket?
I'll try and post some videos soon.

I attached mine via a u clamp. Nice and easy, pity the engine / wheel vibration seemed to get to it though

I had some success with a U bracket to the engine bars, and the handle bars.

Think I saw a guy on ADV rider with rubber-cussioned mounting bracket.
Anyhow, RAM stuff is great imho, Better mount on handle-bars, also imho. ymmv etc.
