can i be first to say that its more than likely farmers or club memebers such as coursing clubs.

have this prob every year at home where the coursing is on, farmers and few others have stock piles of the poison from years ago before made illegal and still use it.

we find dead birds and animals around.

its hard enough when people pets are getting killed but i had close call where neighbours daughter was about go pick up dead bird that had been poisoned, like who is to say that the birds dont drop dead and kids pick them up, or dog goes at them then kids play with dog.

we know who the people are at home and lets say the local gun club has given them strick warning and if gards cant prive it then they willd be dealt with privately.

people have no respect for wildlife

My sister in laws dog was poisoned a few weeks ago. Vet said it looked like strychnine which hasn't been available for years. As has been said, there are stockpiles of the stuff all over the place. Absolutely disgracefull.

ANOTHER WHITE-TAILED sea eagle has been found poisoned in sheep-farming country in Kerry, bringing to 13 the number of birds lost since their release into the Killarney National Park three years ago.
