Well looking forward to my month on the gs of on evening overnight ferry from portsmouth to Le Havre 7th June, then down to southern Spain Andalucia on those great roads, anyone going that way at that time?

The road up to Ronda is superb (if you like fast sweepers).
So something a little slower, take the road from Nerja through Torrox, Competa, Canillas de Albaida, Salares, Sedella, Canillas de Aceituno and Velez Malaga. You'll be sick of twisties by the end of that!!
The Alberdini hotel in Competa is recommended - you'll probably find a few UK trail riders there most nights.

Cheers thanks Greg, yes we were planning a trip to Ronda from Malaga, we are actually staying in Galera we stayed there as our base last year fantastic place to base yourself and graet roads.

I once had agreat thrash up to Ronda and back in a people carrier... dont think my pasengers enjoyed it quite as much as me

John, I arrive in San Pedro de Alcantara on the 4th and there untill 24th. Wont have my bike
but I'll buy coffee for you

I'll be down there around about then, got the ronda road in me satnav as one of the days out.
2nd of june were heading plymouth to santander, down through Portugal over 4 days, 9 days in the south of spain and marocco, then 6 days to work our way back through spain to the ferry. Can't wait.
