Try Hi-Q

I've used Hi-Q car tyre place in Banbury a few times, they have up to date tyre changing kit for bikes & are happy to take loose wheels & tyres bought mail-order.
Fitted right first time with no marks on my wheels !
There are Hi-Q shops all over the place.

I agree with Laurie, all it takes is some decent customer service and maybe next time you may buy direct from them. There is nothing better than going in and having a blether then you start talking prices and sometimes the local shop can match and maybe beat the online tyre prices. It doesn't take much to be nice thats for sure and like you say 10mins is all it will take them. You would think these garages would happily take a quick tenner off you to fit a tyre, I don't believe these garages make much mark up on tyres and then having to store them and all. Where as its easy money and less hassle if the buyer comes with the tyre, easy money if you ask me.. Like you say its nice to be nice, and you never know they may make more with positive free advertising on sites like this.

For me i bought a tyre online, found a local supplier as my usual couldn't balance the spoked wheel on the GSA. Anyway when i went round to my new found garage i got talking found out the prices he could get the tyres and now i order through him. Also free tea and craic cant be beaten and if you want to know who it is then http://www.craigstontyres.co.uk/ not much use to you in Oxford but anyone up in Aberdeen area give Neil a shout top bloke.
