I want to fit an ABS bevel box to a non-ABS bike. Apart from trying to find someone with a duff sensor that I can fit into the gap, are there any other suggestions for keeping the oil in and the water out?

Obviously, if anyone has a duff or dodgy sensor lying around, I would be interested :thumb2

I will if I have to, but there is only one screw hole so it would be likely to rotate or just not seat properly. I suspect that the tube that houses the actual sensor is a key element to locating everything in place.

A single bolt about 60mm long, 2 washers and a nut.

Some exterior silicon sealant around the washers.... job done :thumb2

Insert the bolt from the 'back side' and make sure there is enough clearance between the bolt head and wheel.

Put a couple of rubber grommets on either side of the washers or rubber washer
or an O ring job done. Worked on mine for the last few years.

Excellent - that sounds very workable. I think I'll threadlock the nut, just to make sure, as it could be pretty nasty if it decided to undo itself.

BR, I didn't realise you had the same solution, my fault for not reading properly!
