rear bake 05 dakar

many thanks in advance
had a problem with my rear brake binding on my dakar i have fitted a new rear brake master cylinder also new rear pads and brake fluid.
however the rear disc is now not binding but even when used for a short period the disc is getting hot. could this be down to the rear disc being warped. if so what would be a fair priced replacement to an original bmw disc.

Hiya Ronnie,
Have you checked the rear brake caliper, Could be the piston seizing / sticking causing your problem, May need to clean the piston and its bore, Good luck

many thanks for your reply. rear caliper moves freely on its sliders.
also caliper piston moves in and out ok.
must be warped disc problem. but baffled me. need to get it sorted.
put to much money into this bike. now want the problem sorted.
want to spend my money on petrol and ride it.

p.s it is also a non abs model.
