My mate changed the rear disc on his 1100 RT because it had gone to thin. He bought a new disc and all fittings including an abs disc (he damaged the other one). At the same time he replaced the rear wheel (pothole damage) and took off the final drive to fix the seal. Now the problem. The disc is rubbing on the top of the caliper and getting very hot. He replaced the brake pads and then put the old ones back in to stop the rubbing but no joy. They have stripped it all down and re built it and still no joy. Any ideas from you guys please. He is very pissed off that he ever touched the damn thing at all.
