Rear Brake Pads - Getting yer moneys worth

Looks like the bottom one went a bit passed it's limit!

Changed mine at about 20,000 miles, still had almost a 1/4 of the thickness left - DOH!. I use the rear brake a fair amount around town so they seemed to have lasted much longer than most - BUT I do have the superior non-abs model R1200GS, so that would probably explain it :-)
 
Sintered Pads

Mine went at 9000Km(5625 miles) and I almost never use the back brake.Bike does have servo ABS though.

Used the opportunity to change from organic to sintered pad material and this seems to have sorted it. Almost 14,000km on clock now and very little wear on the pads. Stopping fine wet or dry so no loss of performance with changing pad material.:thumb2
