Rear brake pads

Just took my 1200gs back to dealers as only done 3200 miles since i brought it. The reason i did so was i had no brake pads left on the rear. Contacted said dealer and after a wee while they rang me back and offered to waive the labour charge and they would sort them there and then. I then only had to pay for the pads, result !!!! or so i thought...................................................47 Quid for brake pads Not so happy now!!!!!! And whats all the b****cks about if you lightly use the front brake lever it causes excessive wear on the rear pads?????????? , or is this an old thread / issue???
Am i being told a jackonory?, and just how much do rear pads cost???

You can get sintered pads on the net for about £18, try Brakes4U. They are a doddle to fit, about 15 minutes max. Oh and they last a lot longer than the OE organic pads.
