Hi All
Just had a new rear brake rotor and brake pads fitted (as well as new chain and sprockets) to my F650GS and have noticed that when I use the rear brake the brake light does not seem to go off unless I kind of flick the rear brake with my foot.
When using the front brake the light is fine. Is this normal for new pads?
What can I do to fix (if anything)
Any help appreciated

You might want to check your rear brake switch. It might need to be adjusted or clean .

Lube/clean the pedal return spring and bearing. Sounds like it's sticking slightly.

I have taken off the rear brake pedal and cleaned the sprint etc but now the light is on constantly:blast
Where am I looking for the rear brake switch?
Any pointers, pictures or help would be mnuch appreciated as I dont fancy taking the bike back to the garage & boosting the Australian economy again just yet:confused:

All sorted. After cleaning spring from behind pedal and made sure the clip was in correct place it works like a charm. Thanks for all of your help.
