Picked up my bike yesterday. There seems to be alot of play in the rear brake pedal, about 2". There's no mention of any adjustment in the manual and it doesn't look like there is any adjustment on the bike.

Mines in Wednesday, already done 250 miles. I didn't think anyone else would actually have the same problem but, kinda glad but, sorry if you know what I mean.

I mentioned this when I took mine in for its first service. It's better now, so they adjusted something, but I don't know how they did it - sorry. I think the brake/footpeg (and gearlever/footpeg) distances are set up for offroad claggy boots.
But if mine goes on the grass, it'll be down to rider error.

The rearward threaded bar/locknut adjusts the height of the pedal and the forward one adjusts the gap between the pedal & the brake light switch....
There's nothing in the owners manual about this, but it's very simple to do.....

I saw the threaded adjuster at the back but, didn't think it looked like there was much if any adjustment on it, especially as there is so much play, about 2". The thread looks alot smaller than the one pictured. I'll give it a try and pot the result. Many thanks Bob.
