Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else, 2010my F800gs non ABS hard braking in wet conditions and the back brake locks, ease off the brake but the brake still locked, completely off the rear pedal and its still locked. Happened to my twice now, when the bike comes to a halt the brake releases and seems fine, the brake pedal does not stick down/on ????
Any ideas anyone ?
Gently scrape your rear brake well before corners to warm it up? I get told off 'about this' by a bloke who writes books. But I'm a happy poor man, who goes through rear brake pads quite frequently.
All seriousness, don't you ever jab the front / rear brake on occasionally without power, too get a new sheen on the disc's?
