Rear crud catcher fitting

Hi
Any one else had trouble fitting the Cymarc rear crud catcher? Mine hangs down too far below the number plate and looks stupid, with the cut out showing below the plate. If I had a larger number plate it might fit ok but mine is a road legal plate and is 6.5 inches high and the crud catcher as delivered is never going to fit a plate of this size. Hopefully NIPPY will take it back for a refund as it's pretty useless like it is. I could probably butcher it to fit but at that price I'd rather not.

UPDATE. I can not delete or change my original post so here's an update if anyone is interested.
Fantastic service from Nippys and Cymarc who have offered to make a made to measure version for me. I'm very impressed especially with Cymarc's response.

I recently rode to Cymarc and had several items fitted by Mark including the rear crud catcher, he adjusted mine on the day by re-drilling the rear crud catcher as to him it seemed that the number plate size had changed.

Your second post sums up Mark completely, all round top bloke! If something has changed he will resolve any issues I'm sure.

P.S. I'm not related in any way to Mark, 'found' him through his product recommendations on this forum and experienced in life enough to recognise top people you can trust when you've met them.

i fitted one to my GSA lc took around five mins !! un bolt the plate fit the CC and put plate back on ….couldnt have been easier ..just wondered if they sent you the correct one ?

there you go , just below the number plate fits well looks ace and keeps me clean !

REALLY IMPRESSED

Really impressed, Mark has made me a new rear cud catcher to my specification that fits great. He did this in next to no time. I can't recommend him and Cymarc strongly enough. THANKS MARK.
