just cleaned my 2009 gsa after its first 600 mile service. WOW, the rear disc bolts are corroding away. when i remove the rear wheel is the disc attached to the wheel or does it stay in situe ? done a quick search on fleabay for stainless rear disc bolts but can't find any, are there such things available ?
also is it a torx t50 for the rear wheel bolts

No suprise..............they all do that, sir

Wait for the rest and the front cover:augie

You don't stainless on your discs..........low tensile strength

If you are unhappy speak to your dealer, your bike is under warranty. Fitting non-approved parts such as stainless bolts will invalidate this.

Fitting stainless bolts to a high tensile application such as brake disk fittings is a bad idea anyway, as already stated.

Changed my front disc bolts for the same reason, fitted stainless items over 4 years ago, despite what some people might say, it's no problem with the correct grade. Contact these guys for advice - http://www.tastynuts.com/site/frames/frameset_shoponline.htm

The size is M8 x 20mm for the front, not done the rear yet. Also, they don't need to be torx head. Disc is attached to the hub.

Or if you are not feeling the credit crunch, you could go the titanium route:)
