mates,
anybody ever put a late model rt rear drive and wheel on a r80g/s?? it make the rear end gear a 3,00(33/11) instead of a 3,36(37/11). any thought for this venture, and or ideas??

cheers
jim

The cast wheel would look odd. To be honest I cannot say the standard gearings ever been a problem for me.

i don't think the wheel looks too bad or noticeable, but different. i have only had it on there for a few rides, it is not as slow in the woods, but runs nicely on the gravel, each gear is longer and i never have to use 5th until on the tarmac with yelds a higher speed with low rpms.

i am just not sure about the durability? i am hopping for better fuel economy from 38ish mpg to around 48mpg at cruising speed, however i run full on nobbies, dunlops 606s which suck the fuel mileage.

i am just not sure about it, i may put back on the original..
