went into Wollastons in N'hampton to ask aboutthe above .

Thye say BMW have never supplied a blanking plate to cover up if the rear fender is removed and I would have to go to Touratech ...

Is this the case ?

Hey Franco, that bike's far too clean. Get out and ride it until it's at least dusty and preferably muddy:D

Just the job, going to bmw to order tomorrow ,fitted an ilmberger hugger but the unused bracket doesnt look right.
Thanks guys, Charlie.

Don,t have a pic, but I find that the filler plug allen recess in the rear drive, "goes rusty" (mine is a 99 so its been used lots) to blank the hex hole, I use those little blanking plugs for micro mist irrigation systems (you gave to trim it back slightly say 3mm) it fits and tidies it up.

Well that pic WAS taken years ago, heres what it looks like today. Not quite so radiant. I do ride it every day, even in the winter, so it does get a bit manky. I'm waiting on the Spring rains so it'll get a clean.:thumb
