My 2007 GS Adventure rear hub bearing has failed, I've got 2-3mm of play at the rear wheel and it's very stiff to turn.
Bike's done 25000 miles, bought privately last year, so went to local main dealer who confirmed this is the problem.
Unfortunately their workshop's fully booked until mid-july! I use this bike daily for work so need to get it fixed ASAP.
I don't fancy doing this myself as needs special tools apparently.
Can anyone recommend a helpful independant dealer in Yorkshire who's good with GS's and not got a ridiculous waiting time for the workshop?
Cheers

I know a couple of guys in Lincolnshire, one near Grantham and the other in Sleaford if that's of help? About £300 - £350 from memory for a complete rebuild. Damn site cheaper than a dealer would be, you could courier it to them.

There is an independent near Bradford. Not used him for any work but checked out a bike he was selling last year. He seems a genuine bloke.
