Hello forum.
Can anybody tell me if a rear hugger from a pre 08 bike will fit a post 08 bike?
What change on the 08 bike?
Regards
Stuart

dont know for sure, but why not look at the website at the top of the page eg nippy normans, look under huggers and see if they list differing items for pre and post 08:thumb

Some huggers use the bolts on the FD casing behind the the wheel. I others use the brake calliper bolts others are different again. One of them must fit.

However my Ilmberger only stops some of the crud. With the shovel fitted its not much good at all.

I took the hugger of the missus's 2006 and fitted it to her new 2010 when she bought it. The dealer said they didn't think it would fit with the new electronic suspension but it did no problem :thumb

The Pyramid hugger mounts on the caliper & will fit.

Thanks, so it depends totally on the brand.

Possibly. Btw it was a pyramid I took of the missus's adventure.
Looking at the carbon fibre one on mine I think it will also swap over. Not sure what make it is though.

What we really need is an old style mudguard to run from below the shock right over to the rear shovel. Then no gap to splatter the back end with crud.

A Mudsling keeps the shock and battery clean and wont get clogged offroad. but the bike's back end still gets lathered.
