Well, just picked up my beloved 1150GS after shipping back from the USA.

Unfortunately, when we collected the bike the RH passenger footrest was sitting on the seat - the footrest is fine - it's the alloy bracket which has broken - and the shipper doesn't know how that could have happened:rolleyes::D

So, has anybody got a spare bracket in good nick lying about in there garage?

Just to confirm it's the REAR RH FOOTREST ALLOY BRACKET FOR A STANDARD 1150GS WITH SYSTEM CASES (or 1100/850?)

If you have one please get in touch, along with a price, including postage.

A Weekend Bump!

Just a quick bump - surely one of the oilhead tossers will have one of these lying in the garage somewhere!

May try getting it welded as a temporary fix? - but still looking for one urgently so I can get my MOT done.

Can you not remove the rear seat and the other footrest bracket for the test?

I'm in the same boat and going to get mine welded instead of buying a replacement.

As a temp for your mot would you get away with removing both foot pegs and the rear seat?

Yep, I could remove all pillion gear for MOT - but it needs sorted anyway and I've just sorted out a pair from "hommes" of this parish over on my duplicate post in the "Wanted" section - so hopefully all sorted now:thumb2
