Rear Shock. Rebuild

While moving all the crap from one side of the garage to the other (Spring clean!!!) I came accross a set of shocks that I have kept meaning to have rebuilt.

Plenty of posts re a fella in Glasgow in the past but has anyone gone donwn the rebuild route and got an update as to how well they have performed and lasted.

Had the rear on my 1150 rebuilt by Hans Kruger (the man from Glasgow) about a year and 6000miles or so ago and it seems to be holding up fine. Postage costs for you would be a bit expensive I would think it cost me over £25 just within the UK using the post office parcels service.
