Guys

Is that ugly piece of plastic on my F650GS rearly serve any purpose, has anyone removed theres and noticed a change in the amount of water thrown up onto the pillion passengers back.

is only there for German TUV law - toss it and enjoy the 'open' look... unless you like it as a conversation piece!

if its like the 1150 gaurd it is more or less useless.
