rear suspension adjuster - I made a mess of it

I replaced some fasteners with s/s ones and failed to understand what would happen if I undid the little screw that holds the rear suspension adjuster in place - lost all the bearing balls, disappeared into the nowhere.

Thinking of replacing the whole thing - but assume that there is some kind of hydraulic pressure being exerted onto the shock via a tube, so replacing the knob will entail a major job? anyone any thoughts/experience?

The Knob is held on with one screw in the centre as you have found out, dont wory about the ball bearing and spring all that gives you is a click, and you cant get the adjuster separately from the shock.

Pragmatix is right mate, Youve only lost one tiny ballbearing and maybe the little spring it sits on. You should be able to get the replacement bits but if you cant dont worry. Like Prag says it only gives the clicking noise.
