Rear tyre

My GS is due it's rear tyre replacing, North Oxford are quoting £150 for a replacement - fitted.

What tyre is a good all rounder? and is £150 cheap?

SPC are doing a pair of tourances for £179, but thats on a deal, £150 sounds normal for a Stealer, can you net get further south as Micheldever are a good option near Basingstoke, ride in ride out service

Try Merrityre in Witney (not far from North Oxford). Cost me about £150 for both front and rear last year fitted to loose wheels. I checked they had stock, rode down, took the wheels of one at a time. They are very bike friendly.

Witney Tyres (Merityre) are very good. They'll do a full ride-in, ride-out service if you don't want to break a nail.
