Can anyone point me in the direction of the correct adapter for a R1200GSA (2014) spoked rear wheel so that I can do the balance and truing. I have done some research but I'm not confident about what I'm looking at as the information is vague at best.

I have a Marc Parnes Balancing kit, with the adapter for the BMW rear wheel.
If you have the balancer already you may be able to get the adapter sent over from the States.

Edited to add... Why have you posted it in this section? There's not much in here since 2006!?

I assume you are using a static spindle balancer with the sliding cones to hold the wheel and want an adapter to fit the big hole in the rear wheel,
If you are not in a burning hurry , i will make you one if you get a piece of aluminium round bar, i let a friend have mine, As he just started a motorcycle shop up the coast,
i live near BMW laceby, away this weekend , could do something one night,
Roamer,

I haven't bought anything yet but was thinking of getting a balancer stand off eBay and they getting the Mac Parnes adapter like stated. This seems to be the only option. I think I'll have to get the stand first so that I know the spindle size fits the Mac Parnes adapter. I would ideally like the entire Marc Parnes Balancing Kit so that I wouldn't have this worry but it seems awfully pricey. For something that I thought wound be cheap and simple is not turning out this way. Wants more annoying, if I had the tools I could knock it up in ten minutes.

Do you happen to know which Marc Parnes model number fits the R1200GSA (2014).

Regarding the placement of my post - I have know idea what happened, just fumbling around on my iPad! It's my first participation as I tend to find all the answers.

Roamer,

Like a true BMW Samaritan I'm most grateful for the offer. The problem is that I wouldn't know where to find a piece of alloy and I'm also working down south at the moment so I'm a little out of reach.

If only, you would of saved my bacon and pocket!
